Description: Non-Encroachment stream station offset points (Left/Right) and Non-Encroachment Area (AENE) polygons by Elise Balmand & Graham Summerson, City of Durham Department of Public Works – Stormwater & GIS Services - June 2020. Stream station offsets from Table 17 – Limited Detailed Flood Hazard Data, FLOOD INSURANCE STUDY, DURHAM COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA AND INCORPORATED AREAS, 10/19/2018 (FIS), and subsequent additions and revisions where noted. AENA polygons drawn using interpolation between stream station cross-sections, and data sources more current than used in the FIS limited detail studies, including channel geometry from floodplain fringe topography (City of Durham 2012 LIDAR), stream centerlines (City of Durham Stormwater & GIS Services and Technology Solutions) and aerial imagery (Nearmaps as current as January 2020).
