City Limit Holes can and do cross County boundaries.City Limit Holes are captured to allow for analysis in case an annexation is proposed under §160A-58.54(a)(4)c of the North Carolina General Statues.Areas surrounded by a combination of our City Limits and the limits of other Municipalities, or other political subdivisions such as the RTP or County line, are not City Limit holes.Areas that are surrounded by the existing City Limits on multiple sides and the County Boundary on the closing side are not City Limit Holes.Areas that are surrounded by the existing City Limits on all sides except for a road rights-of-way on the closing side are not City Limit Holes.
